The Leeds Youth Theatre Network focuses on the provision for participatory drama and theatre for children and young people aged 0 – 19 years old living in Leeds.
Brave Words Youth Theatre: Brave words run creative, inclusive youth theatres focused on making new pieces of theatre with children and young people.
Carriageworks Young Theatre Makers: A group of young people aged between 10 and 19 who meet weekly to create new and original theatre. Building drama skills and confidence by creating and performing in three original plays each year.
City Varieties Youth Theatre Company: Helping to facilitate the development of strong, confident and versatile performers.
Interplay Theatre: Everyone has a story to tell, so let’s tell it and create it, 11 – 19 year olds.
Leeds Playhouse : First Floor, Creative Education, Youth Drop in sessions, for anyone aged between 5 and 25.
Leeds City College: School of creative arts.
Opera North Youth Company: Meets weekly to develop singing, explore the arts, create music, theatre and professional performances. The company comprises three groups: Children’s Chorus (8-11), Young Voices (11-15) and Youth Chorus (15-19). Auditions take place once a year in June.
